Biography

Amaya Kinch is an Asheville native who has been in the performing community for all of her life. She danced as a part of a competition team until 2016, and from there she went in to be the captain and lead choreographer for the Asheville High School Dance Team. During that time, she was the lighting designer for the Asheville High School dance and theater program, and she was a stage manager for them as well.

After graduating high school, she became an instructor for ages 3 to adult, and she loves to teach all styles of dance! She has an ASW degree from Appalachian State University and is currently studying for a MSW. She is CPR certified for children and adults, and she is currently the choreographer for the Montreat College Dance Team while having a job as a nanny in Asheville. She is also the dance instructor and a choreographer for the grade k-8 school The Learning Community. She is passionate about helping all people learn to express themselves through movement, especially young children. and she is so excited to be a part of the Momentum Team!
